Speakers:
Andre Guardi - Director, Moss Adams
Mr. Guardi is a Managing Director of Moss Adams Capital, LLC. Through his greater than 20 years of investment banking experience, he has advised many successful growth and middle market companies in a variety of industries. Mr. Guardi’s merger and acquisition work includes sell side, buy side, divestiture, management buyout as well as recapitalization mandates. His capital raise transactions include institutional private equity and debt financings. His client mandates have involved high profile corporations such as: Berkshire Hathaway, Johnson Controls, Mitsui Chemicals, SoftBank, Dow Corning, Danaher and Best Buy, as well as numerous institutional private equity groups.
Prior to joining Moss Adams Capital, Mr. Guardi was a managing director with B. Riley & Co. a Los Angeles based, investment bank. Earlier he held various positions including partner and managing director at Friend & Co. an Irvine, California based investment bank.
Kami Refa - Senior Manager, Moss Adams
Kami has been in public accounting since 1999, including six years with a global firm, providing assurance services to both public and privately-held companies. He has a variety of clients in the manufacturing and technology industries. Kami’s specific experience includes mergers and acquisitions, securities filings with the SEC, and evaluation of internal controls and financial reporting and closing systems. He is a member of Tech Coast Angels, SoCal Bio Council, serves on the OCTANe Technology Leadership Council and is a member of the California Society of CPA’s Accounting Education and Careers Committee.
